He pays tribute to the late director David Lynch, saying: “He brought out the best in me, and saw things in me that I had never seen before.” Watts also wanted to thank Nicole Kidman, who sent a message. During the speech, Watts also spoke about public-life balance and her commitment to women’s health.

Watts received Oscar nominations for his performances in 21 Grams And The Impossible and starred in Birdman, Oscar winner for best film.
His career ranges from television to executive production, to entrepreneurship with “Stripes Beauty” to books, including the latest: “Dare I Say It: Everything I Wish I’d Known about Menopause.”

“I can’t even believe it,” he told Variety immediately after the ceremony. «It’s strange, because I’ve always suffered from impostor syndrome. I always thought I had to work hard, that I still had to prove something, and this recognition came really suddenly. It’s simply wonderful.”
Alongside her, on the famous Los Angeles sidewalk, are long-time friends and colleagues. Jack Black – with whom Watts had shared the set of King Kong – gave one of the funniest moments of the day, lying down next to the star for a photo that immediately went viral.
Also celebrating the actress were her husband and colleague Billy Crudup, her son Sasha Schreiber and numerous celebrity friends, including Sarah Paulson, Edward Norton, Ryan Murphy, Kyle MacLachlan and Niecy Nash-Betts.
