Johan Derksen once again goes the old-fashioned way on Eva Jinek, one of his recurring victims. “She has nasty, underhanded tricks,” said the VI mustache. “That’s not journalism, that’s sensationalism.”
Tennis legend Boris Becker is not happy that Eva Jinek started talking about his extramarital affair and the child that resulted from it on television this week. Shortly after the broadcast he was in Today Inside, and behind the scenes Johan Derksen heard the German complaining about the pranks of NPO’s talk show queen.
In his wick
Johan states that Boris is real not amused was. “Boris came here and he was quite upset, because agreements had been made that the contents of the book would be discussed, but in the clippings service there is an old story from The Sun and Bild that he pulled a lady into a broom cupboard and gave him a blowjob.”
And then? “He kept his seed in her mouth and went home, she lives very far away, she kept the seed in her mouth and pushed it into her hat. Well, I don’t believe it! And Eva, who then practices college journalism, quickly throws it in to score.”
Indecent
That’s just plain wrong of Eva, Johan thinks. “Very indecent. Against Boris Becker and in general, because that is not journalism, that is sensationalism.”
Wouter de Winther, regular guest on Eva’s talk show, said: “I don’t know the story, so I was a bit surprised, but I didn’t hear him say that it was wrong.”
Towards and underhanded
It may also be partly true, according to Johan. “She got pregnant, so he must have just given her a turn, but Bild and The Sun completely hyped that up.”
Yet, according to him, Eva should never have thrown that on the table. “It is a sign that Jinek has nasty, underhanded tricks.”
Wouter: “Oh, I missed those, because they don’t do them for me.”
Up all night
The bond between Eva Jinek and Today Inside has been bad for years and that is mainly due to the bullshit. Johan Derksen called her an ‘uncollegial bastard’ because she allegedly danced on VI’s grave backstage when the show temporarily disappeared from the air due to the candle riot. At one point the bashing of Eva took on serious proportions.
It really bothered Eva. It was so bad that she appeared upset at Beau van Erven Dorens’ talk show table. “It really shocked me. It was about something that wasn’t true. I think that was the worst part about it,” she explained. “I was completely destroyed in that broadcast!”
