Peek & Cloppenburg is creating the position of Head of Public & Corporate Affairs

Daniel Funke will take over the newly created position on October 15, the Düsseldorf fashion retailer announced on Friday. In this role he will report directly to the management.

His tasks include developing and implementing strategies for the group’s future positioning in the political environment. In addition, Funke will act as an interface between the group of companies and important interest groups from politics, business and society – from Berlin.

Funke moves from the Burda publishing group to Peek & Cloppenburg. He worked there for a total of 15 years. During this time he managed, among other things, the Berlin office of the magazine Bunte and most recently the publisher’s capital office.
