After almost thirty years of collaboration, the mountain boot specialist Lowa from Jetzendorf in Bavaria said goodbye to its long-time US managing director Peter Sachs.
Lowa founded the US subsidiary Lowa Boots LLC in 1996 and built it up in the North American market with Peter Sachs at the helm. With a clear focus on quality, customer service and authenticity, he managed to establish Lowa as a premium European brand. “His commitment, his market knowledge and his ability to get people excited about Lowa have played a decisive role in shaping our international development,” says Alexander Nicolai, Managing Director of Lowa Sport Schuhe GmbH.
Particularly noteworthy is his role in the development of market-oriented product variants for the US market, the company said in a press release. These include the now iconic Lowa models Renegade and Zephyr.
Peter Sachs will be succeeded by Lance Taylor, who was introduced in May of this year and has since then worked intensively into his new role.
“With Lance at the helm, Lowa USA will be ideally positioned for the next development phase,” Nicolai is convinced.
