Galatasaray, which is at the top of the Trendyol Super League with 22 points, has already started its planning for the interim transfer period. The yellow-red management, which showed a consistent performance both in the league and in the European arena in the first part of the season, has focused especially on the midfield line to strengthen the squad.

According to A Spor, a senior official from Galatasaray made remarkable statements about the team’s transfer strategy. The official clearly stated his goals by saying, “If we reach a more assertive position in the Champions League, we want to add the midfield version of Singo to our squad.”

During the last summer transfer period, the yellow-reds made intense efforts to transfer national football player Hakan Çalhanoğlu, but this move was unsuccessful as an agreement could not be reached in the negotiations with Inter.

Galatasaray made a big splash during the summer transfer period by adding Ivory Coast right-back Wilfred Singo from Monaco for a transfer fee of 30 million Euros. The management aims to increase the depth of the squad by adding a midfielder with a similar profile and high defensive and offensive balance to the team during the interim transfer period.
