In a show that fused politics and music, Javier Milei and deputy Lilia Lemoine shared the stage at the Movistar Arena to perform “I don’t regret this love”, the Gilda classic covered by Ataque 77. The event, part of the presentation of the book “The Construction of the Miracle”, unleashed a furor among attendees and on social networks, where the chemistry between the two revived rumors about their sentimental past.

The relationship between Milei and Lemoine dates back to the pandemic, when they lived together briefly and she became his image consultant, doing his makeup and helping him polish his style. In an interview on the program “Mañanísima” on El Trece, Lemoine described the two-month romance as “intense” and highlighted Milei’s intelligence and kindness, denying rumors of machismo. “All libertarians are in love with him,” he said, even joking about Donald Trump.

After Milei’s separation from Amalia “Yuyito” González in April 2025, Lemoine confessed in the Blender streaming that he was “the love of my life” on her side, although he clarified that it was not reciprocal. He regretted the breakup with “Yuyito”, with whom he maintains a good relationship, and emphasized that his current bond with Milei is political, although full of admiration.

At the Movistar Arena, with Lemoine as the backup singer of “La Banda Presidencial” alongside the Benegas Lynch brothers, the duo unleashed screams and memes. Some saw the gesture as a romantic wink; others, as an act of political loyalty in the midst of tensions in La Libertad Avanza, such as the resignation of José Luis Espert. Known for her past in cosplay and her controversies, Lemoine remains a figure close to Milei, although without notable legislative projects.
