The accident happened around half past three in the Langestraat in the center of Hilversum. The driver of the Black BMW fell unwell behind the wheel and then bumped into several vehicles that were in the street and parked. In total, according to the police, five vehicles were involved in the accident.
After the driver rode a lamppost, he was folded on three cars and a delivery van. At that time there was a father with his daughter in one of the vehicles. The car finally came to a halt against a house in the Langestraat.
Damage is handled by insurance
The emergency services have closed the street. Ambulance personnel has checked the occupants involved on the street. Miraculously, nobody was injured.
The damage to the cars is further handled by the insurance, the police report. Shortly before five o’clock a number of vehicles were towed away by a recovery company and the street was released again.
