Felix Agu (26) remains faithful to SV Werder Bremen. The left-back suffered an injury to the syndesmose band in the 1-0 win against FC St. Pauli on Saturday. According to the green-whites, AGU will fail for several months.
“I am incredibly sorry for Felix. We will do everything we can to get fit as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we have to assume that Felix will be missing in the long term,” said coach Horst Steffen about AGU, who was always in the starting eleven in the first seven season.
Agus long injury history continues to grow. Especially problems with the patella tendon always put the Nigerian international out of action, in 2022/23 he missed almost the entire season. In the past season, AGU was only able to watch more than two months due to external band problems.
