This happened around noon this afternoon. According to a spokesperson for the fire brigade, the mother and the child went completely head-to-have after the moped car ended up in the canal. A bystander immediately jumped into the water and could free the two. Then more people jumped into the water to help them safely to the side. Eventually the child had to go to the hospital for a check -up.
The fire brigade has used a diver for research, that is the standard procedure when a car goes into the water. How the moped car landed in the water is still unclear. The fire brigade has taken the vehicle out of the water with a tap.
The child was therefore brought to the hospital for an investigation. But it seems that mother and child got rid of it fairly well.
