Chaos at the Glasgow Rangers. The sporting descent leads to violent reactions of the fans.
The Glasgow Rangers separated from coach Russell Martin after only five months. After the disappointing 1-1 in Falkirk on Sunday, the bosses pulled the ripcord, a lean victory from seven games had succeeded under Martin in the Scottish championship.
The situation escalated on Sunday: angry fans wanted to prevent the team bus at the stadium on the departure. Russell Martin was finally escorted by the police in a separate vehicle from the stadium.
In a statement, the club announced that transition times needed time, but the results under Martin did not meet the club’s requirements. Anyone who takes over the table night has so far been open. It would be the fourth head coach this year.
