At the Dutch championships at the 10 kilometers there was no podium place for a North Holland athlete. The best performance was by Edwin Sjerps from Nibbixwoud. He crossed the finish fifth with the men, twelve seconds behind winner Nik Lemmink.
Two weeks ago, Sjerps was crowned the fastest North Hollander at Dam Square. Even though he was mistaken in the finish location.
