Storm Amy rages over the Netherlands: gusts of wind, fallen trees and chaos on the road

Storm Amy kept a lot of house in large parts of the country on Saturday. With gusts of wind up to 120 kilometers per hour, the storm caused considerable nuisance. Trees were shining like matches, roof tiles flew from houses and the traffic suffered heavily under the weather conditions. The KNMI has declared code yellow for the entire country, in connection with the heavy gusts of wind. Emergency services received hundreds of reports of storm damage.
