Until the eighth matchday, the KSC was still without a goal. In Dresden, the team from Baden then struck several times, but there was no win.
Dynamo Dresden got a point in added time against Karlsruher SC. In a wild second division top game, the two teams separated 3: 3. Jakob Lemmer (90.+1) achieved the decisive compensation gate for Dynamo. Marcel Beifus (11th), Lilian Egloff (39th) and Fabian Schleusener (61st) met for the guests, for Dynamo, alongside Lemmer Nils Fröling (8th) and Christoph Daferner (52nd).
In an initial phase, Fröling Dresden brought the lead with a rich shot from a distance. However, the joy of euphoric dynamo attachment did not last long, three minutes later Karlsruhe’s central defender Beifus met with his head. As a result, the KSC dominated, but initially awarded good opportunities in rows – until Egloff rewarded the guests with the 2-1 shortly before the break.
In the second round, an open exchange of blows developed. Schleusener countered the compensation by Daferner in a spectacular way. Dresden pressed fans in front of 31,611 fans, but the substitute Dominik Kother missed from the best position (68.).
In the final phase, Dynamo pushed for the equalization – and rewarded himself through Lemmer. Dresden was not satisfied with this and wanted more. A fourth goal was no longer added.
