Eintracht Braunschweig remains victorious in the seventh game in a row. There was a dramatic defeat against Paderborn. Now the relegation battle threatens.

The long wait for a win continues: Eintracht Braunschweig lost 1-2 against SC Paderborn on Friday evening. The team has been waiting for a success for seven competitive games – six defeats and a tie are available during this time.

Shortly before the end, the BTSV believed in a turn: Levente Szabo headed a flank from Mehmet Aydin to 1-1 in the 86th minute. Previously, Braunschweig had to run after long distances – Filip Bilbija scored for the Paderborn lead after just 30 seconds.

After the early goal, the guests also resigned immediately: Less than two minutes after the 1-1 1: 1, Stefano Marino put 2-1 for Paderborn in the 88th minute. Even the eight minutes of stoppage did nothing to the BTSV.

At the same time, the 1. FC Nürnberg won its away game in Düsseldorf 3-2 – this initially slipped Eintracht Braunschweig to 15th place. Dynamo Dresden, currently at relegation rank 16, can pass on Saturday evening from 8.30 p.m. (live with Sky and Nitro).
