The Technology Company Citymesh from Oostkamp has systems that can detect and locate drones. With sensors, including based on sound, the company can not only perceive a drone but also detect the pilot.
At the naval base in Zeebrugge, Citymesh showed how their technology works. “We could first determine the presence of the drones in Elsenborn, and then immediately send our own drone to map both the device and the pilot,” explains research manager Jens Buysse.
