Away win for the Löwen Frankfurt in the Del: The Hesse won 4: 3 at the Iserlohn Roosters on Thursday evening.
Löwen turn behind in the second third
The lions went behind in the first third. In the second section, however, the team was able to correct this – and turn: First Markus Schweiger scored in the 27th minute to 1: 1, just three minutes later Linus Fröberg even gave the guests 2-1.
The Frankfurters took the superiority into the last third. Fabio Kose increased to 3: 1 from a lion’s perspective. However, the hosts came to the connecting goal – and 20 seconds before the end.
Wedman meets in the last second
When everything looked like overtime, the lions led back in the literally last second: Matthew Wedman scored the acclaimed winning goal – 0.4 seconds were still on the clock.
For the lions it was the second victory in a row after starting the DEL season with five defeats in a row. On Saturday (7 p.m.) the home game against the Cologne Haie continues.
