A car with a trailer behind it was destroyed by Brand in Helmond in the night from Wednesday to Thursday. The car was in a parking lot on the Betuwehof in the Rijpelberg district. The fire brigade quickly had the fire under control, but the car could no longer be saved.
The trailer could still be saved from the fire.
In the first instance, the fire brigade was told that the car would be at a home. The fire brigade therefore came to the fire with several vehicles.
It soon became apparent that the car was far enough from houses, so that the extra vehicles could turn around. It is unclear how the fire started.
