The bad luck of injury at the reigning master continues. After Sarah Zadrazil’s serious injury, two other players will be canceled in the coming weeks.
The players of FC Bayern Munich currently have great bad luck. After Sarah Zadrazil, which is long with a cruciate ligament rupture, Vanessa Gilles and Jovana Damnjanovic are now missing for several weeks.
As the club announced on Wednesday, the Canadian international Gilles suffered a muscle injury in the lower leg on Monday evening in the DFB Cup game at Borussia Dortmund (2-0). Striker Damnjanovic injured herself during training and suffered a torn muscle fiber in the calf.
The trio is also missing from the Bayern women for the Champions League start next Tuesday at FC Barcelona and the Bundesliga league game on October 11th at VfL Wolfsburg.
