That is why residents are informed about what the BSN is to do with it. to reach as many residents as possible. ”
Better Government Services
Entering the citizen service number is a first step that makes it possible for residents to use online government services in the future. With the BSN, all residents will soon have 1 unique personal number for the entire government. This allows the DigiD login to be requested. Government organizations in the Caribbean Netherlands can also switch to the use of the BSN and DigiD in the coming years as soon as their systems have been adjusted. This makes it possible for residents in the future to arrange more and more things with the government with a BSN and DigiD online.
