Good news for the De Weide district association in Hoogeveen. The crowdfunding action that was set up after vandalism on King’s Day worked out well. The collection campaign has yielded around 4,300 euros.

At Tjak reporter Aaldert Oosterhuis this morning was a guest in the renewed building of the neighborhood association. “We are a sparing association,” says Hein Akerboom, chairman of the De Weide neighborhood association. “The building we are in with the neighborhood association is 28 years old. It is not broken, but it was dated a bit.” That is why the association with savings has refurbished the meeting space of the building. “People say it now looks like a grand café.”
