The Jukurit strives to fix their financial course and reach zero.

Mikkeli Jukurit, who plays in the Ice Hockey League, announced that he had made heavy losses during the previous financial year (May 1, 202 to April 30, 2025).
The Jukuri net sales fell to EUR 4.67 million and the operating loss was EUR 323,923. After the financial statements and taxes, the “cod” was EUR 414,530.
The Jukuri activities are already burdened with loss -making years. In the 2023-24 season, the operating loss was over EUR 700,000, which, after one -off financial income and corporate grant, softened to a loss of EUR 342,000.
– The financial result is not in line with the goal. The loss -making result of the financial year was burdened by a weaker athletic success, leaving the audience target, a coach change in the middle of the season and the effect of abundant injuries on player costs. Corporate sales growth and efficiency of business expenses, Jukuri CEO Tero Kumela said in the bulletin.
The Jukuri remained a jumbo last season in the regular season but avoided the league qualifiers by defeating the Pelicans in the Playout series.
The Mikkeli club has struggled with the audience numbers. Last season, its home match average was by far the worst in the series, 2,444.
The Jukuri is aiming for zero results for the current season. Efforts are being made to raise income and cut expenses.
“Achieving zero results in the smallest economic area of the SM League is an ambitious goal, but if everything succeeds and in the support of the community, Kumela said.
The Jukurit does not draw up consolidated financial statements, so the above figures lack the turnover and result of the subsidiary Kalevankangas Areena Oy.
For example, the corresponding to the Oulu Flyers economic record included the group’s readings, which meant a turnover of more than EUR 33 million.
The Oulu Kärpät Memo company, which is responsible for the Flyers’ Hockey Operation, had a turnover of EUR 10.7 million. The operating loss was 1.3 million and the loss for the financial year was about EUR 550,000.
