What is the biggest game of the past decade in German men’s football is more of a small number in women’s football. Borussia Dortmund meets the defending champions of FC Bayern in the first round of the DFB Cup. With the BVB, a regional league team receives Germany’s reigning master.

Before the game – For the first time in history, the women’s teams from Munich and Dortmund meet. While Dortmund plays in the regional league, Bayern are the reigning German champions. The BVB women’s team, which was only founded in September 2020, has recently risen four times in series.
