Generation Z took to the streets in Peru: Eighteen injured
On Saturday and Sunday, demonstrators took to the streets in Peru for the fourth time. The dissatisfaction is fueled by corruption scandals, economic uncertainty, increasing crime and anger about the lack of accountability for the death of dozens of demonstrators killed by security forces when Boluarte came to the power at the end of 2022 after former President Pedro Castillo was put out of office and arrested.
