Amanda Kotaja30, became ill at the preparation camp and is unable to attend in New Delhi, India, September 27th – October 5th. to the World Championships for Para Athletes.
– The training camp did not go as planned in Turkey. I became ill and went to the hospital between Sunday and Monday (September 21 – September 22). I got out of the hospital on Thursday morning 25.9. And I returned to Finland the next night, Kotaja says On the SUL website.
Kotaja is a four -time world champion in track and a double medalist for the Paralympics. He would also have fought for medals in India.
– The training had gone well and I was ready to fight for success. It really annoys a lot, Kotaja says.
