On March 26, the Russian military used high-precision weapons to destroy a fuel base in Lviv, which provided fuel for Ukrainian troops in the western regions of the country and near Kiev. This was stated at a briefing by the representative of the Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov.
In addition, he said, as a result of the strike by cruise missiles, the workshops of the Lvov radio repair plant were destroyed in the city. “This enterprise carried out a major overhaul and modernization of the Tor and S-125 anti-aircraft missile systems, radar stations for the Ukrainian air force, electronic warfare equipment and sights for tanks,” Konashenkov said.
On the eve of the head of the Lviv regional administration Maxim Kozitsky said that the city was subjected to a missile attack, residential buildings were not affected. In Lvov, an air alert was announced, the authorities asked residents to stay in shelters.
