Not only the castle itself, but also the 7-hectare castle garden received a makeover. It was redesigned in the style of the French noble gardens.
Visitors react enthusiastically. “This is cultural heritage that must stay in honor and must be accessible to everyone. It is wonderful that this can be admired again,” says Ilse Casteleyn.
The castle will officially open its doors again in April next year, but during the Werfweekend, curious people already got a unique look behind the scenes.
