The music producer and DJ Metro Boomin was acquitted by a jury on Thursday (September 25th) by four lawsuits to alleged sexual assault. Vanessa Lemaistre had sued. She accused Metro Boomin of sexually abusing her in a hotel room in Beverly Hills in 2016. The lawsuit was filed as early as 2024.

Metro Boomin, whose bourgeois name is Leland Wayne, was found to be not guilty after a jury, as “Hot New Hip Hop” reports. “I am grateful and thank God that I can finally leave all this nonsense behind me,” said Wayne in a statement after the verdict. He explained that the allegations were “particularly shocking if you consider how I treat others and represent myself” and called them “hideous”.

According to Lemaistres, she visited him in his studio in Los Angeles at his invitation, where she allegedly saw him when Codein consumed. At another meeting in his work rooms, after taking half an Xanax tablet, which she took in because of her depression, she lost consciousness and was not awakened in the studio afterwards, but in the bed of a hotel room in Beverly Hills. The moment she woke up, Wayne had already passed to her. He is said to have raped them and forced them to oral sex.
Metro Boomin opposes her that he and Lemaistre had previously had two amicable sexual encounters with a condom. In his statement, he also referred to the experiences of his late mother with domestic violence and condemned every perpetrator of sexual or domestic violence.
