Coaching team Michael Silander says no one in the Finnish team heard the votes of the weapon.
– We were hanging out at the hotel, some may have been in their rooms and some may have been on a trade trip. No drama was caused by the situation in our group, Silander says.
Georgia Broadcasting Company 1tv reported on Thursday that police arrested one person on suspicion of shooting and possession of a weapon.
According to information, a person has triggered their weapons in their hotel room and behaved threateningly towards the hotel staff. Police are investigating the case.
– We only saw police and an ambulance at the hotel. I later read that someone had apparently been searched by the police, Silander continues.
Medal hopes
The World Championships for Under 21 and Adults will be held in Tbilisi 27.9-2.10. A total of nine athletes represent Finland at the competition.
Friday was the registration date of the competitors. The organization, which will be organized later in the afternoon, will build a match charts.
“It may be that on the opening day we have five players in the cage,” Silander said.
One of the biggest medal hope is Oulu Isla Fonowho has won the World Championship and European Championship gold in the junior and youth series. Now Fono is applying for the first medal at the adult level.
