Finland won three medals at the Classical Bench Press European Championships on Thursday, the Finnish Powerlifting Association reports.
Joni Tajakka Celebrate gold in a 105kg series with a score of 232.5 pounds, and Mira Lahtinen It was number one in the 76 kg series with 130 kg.
The medal mixture complemented Johanna Laitinenwho took silver over 84 kg.
The gold of the World Cup was already the third consecutive. Lahtinen was crowned for the first time. For Laitinen, the medal was the fourth of the career.
Earlier this week Johanna Kuronen achieved bronze in the 52 kg series, so Finland’s balance is a handsome four medals in the open series.
The Finnish open women’s team was also awarded the third best in Europe.
