The nineteen woman from Eindhoven who is suspected of killing her father has put an end to her life. That is why the case can no longer be dealt with substantively at the court in Den Bosch. Various stakeholders have confirmed this to Omroep Brabant.
The victim, a man of 52, was found dead on April 16, 2024 in a house on the Vilvoordehof in Eindhoven. He was stabbed. The man lived in the house with his wife and daughter. The family is from Russia and has been living in the Netherlands for about five years.
Two ambulances and a trauma helicopter came to the Vilvoordehof rushed after the stabbing report. Rescuers tried to resuscitate the man, but this was no longer possible.
The suspect daughter was arrested the same day near her parental home. Nothing has never been brought out about the reason and circumstances of the stabbing.
Investigation after the discovery of prisoner
On July 26, she was found lifeless in her cell of the judicial complex Zaanstad. The alarm was immediately sounded. CPR by employees and then by care providers did not help.
After examination by the theater doctor and forensic investigation, the body was released. The suicide was reported to the Healthcare and Youth Inspectorate (IGJ) and a so -called calamity research has been established. Nothing is known about this.
“It is a sad final piece of a sad matter.”
At the request of the relatives, the lawyer of the Eindhoven does not want to make a decision about the death of her client. “It will be a very short session on Tuesday,” she said. Then the question is formally asked at the court in Den Bosch whether the Public Prosecution Service (OM) can be declared inadmissible.
“You can’t prosecute a deceased suspect,” explains a spokesperson for the OM. “It’s a sad final piece in a sad thing.”
The OM was informed of the death of the suspect earlier this summer. “It was then told that it was not a crime. We never make statements about privacy reasons.” This is how the spokesperson said.
