The 94-year-old actor received the health problems in his home in Los Angeles. According to insiders, he called the emergency services himself, after which an ambulance arrived.
Shatner was taken to a nearby hospital for an investigation. In the meantime he would “quietly recover” and it is going well with him, sources confirm to TMZ.
Very active in old age
Despite his old age, Shatner is still very active. He still works on various acting projects and regularly visits fan meetings. Last month he participated in a panel during Dragon Con in Atlanta.
Shatner gained world fame as Captain James T. Kirk, the captain of spaceship Enterprise, in the original Rigor-Serie, which ran from 1966 to 1969.
