The Cologne clothing provider Armedangels has appointed a new person responsible for his supply chain. On Wednesday, the company announced the appointment of Andreas Werther as Director Supply Chain.
The sustainable fashion label explained the personnel decision in a statement: “With more than 15 years of international experience in purchasing, sourcing and supply chain management in renowned companies such as C&A, bestseller, Mustang Jeans, Orsay and Christ, Andreas Werther has profitable knowledge of efficient procurement processes, in the construction of sustainable supply chains as well as in the successful implementation Shopping models, ”it says.
Werther’s profile associations “strategic thinking with a deep understanding of operational processes,” said the company. “Especially his experience in the introduction of innovative purchasing and process models as well as the successful implementation of global sourcing strategies make him a valuable addition to armed angels.”
The newcomer, which took up its post with immediate effect, outlined its future goals. “My experiences from the conventional fashion industry are valuable to make supply chains more sustainable and efficient,” said Werther. “Together with the supply chain team, we create a stable and scalable operational basis that enables our expansion and ensures sustainable growth.”
