Via free from the Chamber to the establishment of the National Feast of San Francesco d’Assisi on 4 October. The measure, presented by us moderate by us, collects bipartisan support in the Chamber.
There were 247 votes in favor, 8 abstentions and only 2 against. The text now passes to the Senate. The goal is the definitive approval for the eighth centenary of the saint’s death in 2026.
