Biological livestock and consumption grow in Flanders while the number of companies is falling slightly

The evolution of organic farming in Flanders showed a mixed image in 2024. Although the biological area for the first time exceeded the 10,000 hectare cape and the total livestock and consumer spending have also increased, the number of farms has fallen slightly.
