On April 25, the 34-year-old victim fell asleep in a chair after taking a considerable amount of sleeping medication, which he took against psychoses. The defendant Fréderic G. was also present in the house in Lichtervelde. He had ‘flakka’ in the body, also known as the Zombiedrug, and drove himself in the chair to the victim, who was too dazed to resist. G. held the victim a hand in front of the mouth so that he could not sound an alarm.
Not much later the police were informed. When he arrived, both the victim and the defendant were still present in the home. G. did not deny that he had raped the victim. Two days earlier he had already tried it, but that had failed at the time. “But I would do it again,” he explained. “I see him as Dwayne Johnson or Vin Diesel. I find those men exciting and couldn’t control myself.”
Not a mental illness
According to the defendant, he was slightly in love with the victim, but the feelings were not mutual. In his own words, he had been using Flakka for four years and occasionally also a line of speed. According to the court psychiatrist, G. has no mental illness, but the risk of recurrence is great, as long as the man continues to use drugs. In the past, the man rose no less than 29 convictions and has been in custody since the facts.

The court sentenced G. to three years in prison on Monday to three years. The man has to tackle his drug addiction, has lost his civil rights for five years and may no longer be in contact with the victim for ten years. The court awarded the court a provisional compensation of 3,000 euros.
