Actress Anouk Maas gave birth to her first child. Her daughter Ella-Mae was born September 13, the actress announced on Instagram on Monday afternoon. “You are beautiful and perfect. I am so proud of us.”
In a candid interview in Linda. Earlier this year, Maas explained why she made the choice to become a conscious mother and she told about the reactions she received.
“It is not a house-tree-beast story and that yields an error for many people. That is allowed, but the tricky thing about it is that it is considered more normal when someone ends up in bed after an evening in the pub and gets pregnant. For such an ‘accident’ everyone has a long understanding, but I have the feeling that I have to correctly.”
From an early age, Anouk felt that she wanted to become a mother, but because of her busy career she did not think about her ticking biological clock for a long time. At a certain moment she became aware of this. A suitable partner was not in her life, so she investigated other options for becoming a mother. “I didn’t just want to stay in a relationship, get a child and then see how it ends.”
After several conversations with her doctor and her psychologist, she decided to go for a ‘contact donor’. A donor who plays a passive role in her child’s life.
“Now recover and enjoy lovingly.”
On Instagram, Maas says that she is now withing Ella-Mae. “We are going to recover and enjoy lovingly.”
She thanks all the people who have guided her during pregnancy and delivery. “Thank you for the support, guidance, laughter, supporting, sharing the pain, the tears, the sleepless nights, the love and the whole journey we have taken together. Without you I would have felt very alone. I felt so behaved by you. What a rollercoaster was this for us. One of us.”
