A fire broke out last night in a house in Coevorden. Around half past one, a fire was made in a house on Breitnerstraat.
Upon arrival of the fire brigade, the flames hit the roof of the terraced house. Fire brigades from the wider area, including Coevorden, Schoonebeek and Zwinderen, have been called to help extinguish the fire.
According to a spokesperson for the fire brigade, the fire started in the kitchen. The residents noticed the fire in time and alerted the neighbors. According to witnesses, the entire residential block of eight homes has been evacuated.
The fire has since been skipped through the attic to an adjacent house. The fire brigade tries to prevent further expansion.
Nothing is yet known about the cause of the fire. There were also no victims, as far as we know, there were two ambulances on the spot for the certainty.
