PSV trainer Peter Bosz was difficult to put the point loss against Ajax (2-2) in the Eredivisie on Sunday. “I am very sick of it, really sick,” he told during a press conference in the Philips Stadium.
“I thought we had full control in the first half. As a trainer I feel whether I am quietly sitting on the couch or not. Now I was quiet. Suddenly it is 1-1. For me that goal came out of nothing,” he was referring to the penalty kick used by Kenneth Taylor.
After the break, Ajax got better in the match and the Amsterdammers got opportunities. “We had a hard time with the insertion of Oscar Gloukh,” Bosz analyzed. “Ajax should have taken the lead in the first phase of the second half. Then we took it over again. If you come to 2-1 shortly before time, you will not be allowed to give it away. We did that by walking backwards.”
“A team under construction also needs ‘success experience’.”
Bosz saw that there were also a lot of wrong with both teams. “But we have played an acceptable game. Only you don’t reward yourself. I think that’s the most unfortunate for the new, young players. We still have to grow together. Results help. A team in construction also needs ‘success experience’.”
Ismael Saibari scored with his head against Ajax, but also left good opportunities, just like Tuesday in the Champions League Against Union. Bosz: “He is too often out of balance when he shoots. Ismael has to find more peace and sometimes placed, with the inside of the foot, shoot. If he can still take that step, he becomes an even better player.”
