Research by BIJ12, the organization that arranges Wolvenzaken for provinces, shows that two new wolven rods have settled in Drenthe. A new pack has been added in both Midden-Drenthe and Westerveld. In total there are now around 35 wolves in the province.
It was the third Tuesday of September, time for the outgoing cabinet to present the new plans for the coming year on Prinsjesdag. But the government has presented big plans. “There is a minimal purchasing power increase, but it is still far below the inflation increase. The discount on fuels will be extended by a year,” says political reporter Serge Vinkenvleugel.
According to the municipality of Coevorden, valleys are being driven too fast and therefore three new barriers are being installed. Not everyone is in favor of this, farmer Jan Uineken put his tractor on the road on Wednesday morning. “We didn’t really know about the plans and from scratch the thresholds by the municipality were suddenly completely arranged.”
