Finally the first home win: Bundesliga relegation Holstein Kiel convinced against the Karlsruher SC across the board. The “storks” added the first defeat of the defeat to the guests at 3: 0 (2: 0).
The goals for the “storks” dominating over long distances scored Adrian Kapralik (25th), David Zec (36.) and Phil Harres (71.).
The KSC had traveled to the far north with the recommendation of a series of unbeaten games. So far, two draws have been available away – after all. In contrast, the lousy home record of the hosts, who had previously lost their two appearances in front of their own audience. Holstein had last convinced in the 1-0 victory at Schalke.
Kiel with a lot of steam from the start
This victory had apparently given the “storks” a lot of boost – they started with a lot of momentum and energy. The visibly surprised KSC was vehemently put under pressure – there was a yield after nine minutes: after a long ball from the midfield, defender David Herold could not control the ball and Adrian Kapralik was free. He passed keeper Hans -Christian Bernat, was brought down by the – penalty. Jonas Thermelsen started, but failed due to the good reacting Bernat (12th).
Kapralik breaks the spell
The KSV Holstein stayed on, pressed the KSC enormously high. After 25 minutes, the home side were finally allowed to cheer. Staged by Alexander Bernhardsson, Kapralik Halfbrecht was well put in a shot position. This time the Slovake graduated, and the ball slammed from twelve meters to 1-0 into the net (25th).
A well -deserved leadership that got the previously puzzled passive KSC going a little bit. Finally Marvin Wanitzek and Co. also got a few Pass relays and were able to do a little in the direction of the opposing goal. But as soon as they looked ahead, it rapped behind them: David Zec converted a corner kick brought with a lot of train to the corner of John Tolkin with a strong header to 2-0 (36.).
KSC turns on in the second section
KSC coach Christian Eichner seemed to have found real words during the break – his people appeared very differently in the second section: even now handy, aggressive and clearly in forward gear. Kiel was pushed backwards. In the 52nd minute the first flash of inspiration in Wanitzek, who staged the Fabian Schleusener Fabian Schleusener on the right – his conclusion became prey of keeper Jonas Krumrey.
KSC print in the second section.
This campaign was the starting signal for a real storm run by the guests. Opportunities now arose almost every minute. Wanitzek himself had the best when he took a long chip ball on the second post from 14 meters directly – but thundered over the goal.
Harres ensures the decision
Kiel’s coach Rapp reacted and changed fresh forces. Bring two new offensive forces with Steven Skrzybski and Phil Harres – quite brave. But it had a positive effect. Kiel now started more dangerous counterattacks. In the 70th minute, the broken capalic in the center did not yet find a buyer. A little later, however, the rang in the KSC goal again: Substantial Harres was sent steeply by Skrzybski and converted cool into a short corner from 13 meters – 3: 0.
That was the decision. The shoulders went down with the guests. Kiel was allowed to celebrate his first home win.
