Along the entire route there are supporters who have tried the rain for a while. Majory from Amsterdam-Noord is located at the 11 kilometers towards Zaandam. “I stand here every year to encourage my colleagues,” she says, in the meantime calling to the runners. She wears a pink ballerina suit with air in it and stands out. “Every year I have something different. This is just great. Yesterday I walked the twenty kilometers, but I can’t run and therefore this.”
Also wet -rained heads on the side. Two supporters hide under a plu. “My friend is participating. So I really have to keep paying attention.”
There are not many supporters here, our reporter Floris Spanish sees on the radio. But that is why the enthusiastic reactions yields. “I see many people smile when they see Majory and the others here.”
In the meantime, Majory continues to shout: “Put it on Toppers !!!!!”
