McLaren dominated the 1st training in Baku yesterday. However, the second session in the afternoon should give hope to the competition. Lando Norris, the fastest in the 1st training session, first touched the wall slightly in curve 2 and a few curves later hit much harder. The damage was so big that Norris could no longer drive in the session. Even with Oscar Piatri, the 2nd training session did not go according to plan. He also struck slightly, but got away without damage. In the end, there was no more than twelve place.
