On September 16, 2025, the member representatives of EK Retail met again in April in April in April in April – this time at the German seat of the company in Bielefeld. In addition to other agenda items, elections for the supervisory board were also on the program. After Peter Dirks’s departure in accordance with the statutes, the representative assembly elected the Dutchman Johan Vlassak to the supervisory board of the multi -industry association as a representative of the 3,800 international trading partners. In the subsequent constituent session, the newly formed supervisory board elected Dr. Marc Zgaga as deputy chairman of the supervisory board.
According to the statutory exit from Peter Dirks
Peter Dirks, a proven Dutch commercial and financial specialist and former chairman of the EURETCO supervisory board (today EK Netherlands), resigned in office after three years, most recently as deputy chairman. Supervisory Board, Board and Representative Assembly thanked him for his great commitment, not least with a view to the successful, cross -border together of the EK Retail, and wished him all the best for the future.
His compatriot Johan Vlassak, who introduced himself to the representatives of the EK at the meeting in Bielefeld, applied for the vacant seat. Born in Eindhoven, he can look back on a successful professional career in finance and worked, among other things, at the Dutch Bank Abn Amro and the cooperative Rabobank in different management positions in the area of corporate banking.
Focus on financial corporate values
One focus of the commercial and financial specialist as well as studied Master of Business Valuation (MBV) was on the assessment of the financial company value, with a special main focus on mergers and takeovers. Most recently, Vlassak worked as Director and Partner of the Crowe Foederer Corporate Finance BV, one of the leading Dutch companies for auditing and advice.
In the following vote, the representative assembly then elected him to the supervisory board. “Johan Vlassak is a very experienced professional in the wide field of financial analysis and strategic decision -making. In addition to his well -founded expertise in the trade, he brings a valuable external view of our group of companies, which opens up new perspectives and will certainly make us even more.
Turning to the Supervisory Board: Representation again occupied, chair confirmed
Following the representative assembly, the newly formed supervisory board in its constituent session has had a doctorate in the Supervisory Board since April 2025, who have been doing his doctorate and managing director from the SMEsverbund – ZGV EV and CEO of Servicon Service & Consult eG, Dr. Marc Zgaga, elected deputy chairman. Johannes Lenzschau was confirmed by his colleagues in the committee, in his office as chairman of the Supervisory Board.
