FErrara, 18 sets. (askanews) – “Italferr told us that there are 98 construction sites open now in Italy”. Also for this reason “we are looking for Stem graduates because with all these works we need technicians”. This was stated by Francesco Ventura, councilor Oice with responsibility for the environment, at the conference “The engineering challenges for the design of great infrastructures: between technological innovation and environmental sustainability” organized in Remtech Expo in Ferrara.
“The theme for us designers is that of great infrastructures. For us at Oice and Remtech it is a moment of sharing, reflection, comparison with the other stakeholders, therefore with the greatest contracting stations, with the institutions, with the world of research and with environmental associations”, explained Ventura. “In our conference we carried on the speech of the institutions with interventions by the Ministry of the Environment, Infrastructure and Transport, the government’s commissioner for reclamation and landfills. We had important managers of the major Italian contracting stations such as Anas, Railways, Italferr, Sogsid and Terna as speakers”.
On the topic of the times, Ventura stressed: “The times tight are those of the deadlines of the PNRR which are very greenhouse, so we have the contracting stations that in turn are pressed by these deadlines of the European Community and we designers try to do everything possible”.
