Drugged twenty-something mows cyclist off the road

The facts happened on Friday evening around 6 p.m. on Mandellaan. The twenty-something with his Peugeot Partner suddenly deviated from his lane for no reason and hit a sixty-something who was driving on the bicycle path without brakes. The man was scooped up, flew over the vehicle and fell behind the car with a crash. Then the driver drove away. A witness was able to film the facts.

“Solving the problem of overpopulation”

“The police were informed shortly after the facts by the stepfather of the young man who said that his stepson had hit someone,” the prosecutor said. “The driver stated that he was angry at the world and that he wanted to do something about the overpopulation problem. He tested positive for drugs.” The driver and victim did not know each other. The victim is seriously injured, but no longer in life-threatening condition. The perpetrator will later be brought before the investigating judge for attempted manslaughter. He will decide on his further arrest.
