At least eight fans of the two curves for the derby waited. Also present were the Sharks of the Wisla Krakow: the last time ended very badly …

September 18 – 9:56 pm – ROME

The alert is maximum, because the maturity test of last April 13 was miserably failed, with 24 wounded agents and 6 ultrà arrested. But it is also maximum because, just like in the last derby, on Sunday 21 September there will be numerous infiltrations of foreign fans. In fact, those historically allied with the ultrà of Lazio and Rome. Hot supporters, always ready for the clash and create disorders wherever they go around Europe. The two Roman fans have long since turned to the right and the geography of the alliances was also born on the basis of the same political ideas as the main ultrà groups as the two curves.

geography

On Sunday at lunch it is therefore very likely that in the South Curve alongside the Giallorossi “brothers” you see the Greeks of Gate 13 (Panathinaikos), the Spaniards of the Frete Athletic (Atletico Madrid) and the Croats of the Bad Blu Boys (Dinamo Zagreb). Among other things, some of these could also appear on Wednesday 24 September in Nice, when Rome will make its debut in the Europa League against a team whose fans have long been twinned with that of Inter (and, therefore, for transitive properties also very close to the Lazio one). In the North Curve, however, the fans of four “friends” groups of the biancocelesti are expected on Sunday: the Germans of Lokomotivi Leipzig (both the ultras and the Blue Side Lok), the Poles of the Sharks Hooligans (Wisla Krakow), the Bulgarians of Sofia West (Levski Sofia) and the British of the Inner City Firm (West Ham). All fans who over the years have approached those of Rome and Lazio, often deepening the relationship and giving themselves a mutual hand.

alliance

The Greek fans of the Panathinaikos, among other things, are ready to host the Giallorossi “brothers” on January 29, for the last game of the Europa League group. And in these days we will also talk about this, considering the common rivalry with the Olympiacos fans. Just think that the latter is twinned with the ultrà of the Red Star. Those who in 2023 were the protagonists of the Jun of the FeDayn banner stolen and then burned in Belgrade. Or remember the episodes of 2006, when in Rome a group of Giallorossi ultrà broke into 2 at night in a hotel hunting for Greeks (one was wounded with a “puncicated” in the thigh), which was followed by the assault on a bus of red and white fans, who was attempted to give on fire. 9 Roma fans were arrested, between naive clubs and manganelli. All to avenge the attacks of two weeks earlier, in Athens, when the Olympiacos fans who attacked the Giallorossi bus with stones and Molotovs were instead.

the previous ones

In short, the climate is very hot, also because when the Poles of the Sharks Hooligans came en masse in 2015, the clashes were very strong, even with the police, with the Hooligans all strictly masked. Clashes that also repeated in April 2024, when the derby was also played on that occasion at 12.30. That day the unrest began early, around 9.30 in the morning, with about 300 ultrà of Lazio and Rome trying to get in touch with each other, with the launch of paper bombs and blunt objects against the police cords lined up between the two fans, just to avoid the clashes.

the meeting

And the alert is also maximum because Rome does not want to stain its city image. Yesterday, for example, an important meeting between the mayor Gualtieri, the UEFA, the FIGC and the Giallorossi club took place in the capital. The hypothesis that emerged is to have two stadiums in Rome for the European 2032: the Olimpico and Pietralata. But the wars between ultrà could ruin everything …
