The Finnish Arkansas raw sausage made by Wursti Oy’s S Group received the best points in tasting the Academic Kiuas Society (AKS) and grabbed the top of the year as the best sausage of the year.
– A nice taste of good fresh meat that can only be found in the raw sausage, says the chairman Jyri Jämsä Academic Society on the website.

This year, AKS estimates 102 sausages from 12 different countries, 62 of which were new in Finland. The tastings conducted as a blind test estimate the taste, structure, the bonding of the mass and the crispness of the shell. The club strives to taste all the Finnish new sausages.
Sausages were evaluated in five categories. The best categories will be rewarded with certificates of certificates at the anniversary of AKS on 20 September.

AKS selected the best new sausages now for 26 times. Last year, Makuliha Oy’s Boomeri barbecue sausage won.
