A Swiss company is considering legal action against Veldhovense anesthesiologist Jens Fischer who performed more than 200 illegal treatments with umbilical cord blood in children. The doctor did not have a permit for the very expensive treatments that cost up to 44,000 euros each. Research shows that Slovak women were misled when giving up the umbilical cord blood.
