Restaurant cows and cheese is preparing for the winter. The steak and cheese restaurant has been closed since mid-June to prepare for the warm and pleasant winter season. In the coldest months of the year you imagine yourself in winter sports at restaurant Kühe und Käse.

The restaurant just stays cows and cheese, but then poured into an après-ski atmosphere. Expect steak topped with raclette, traditional cheese fondue with Swiss and French cheeses, many schnitzels and Tyrolean Gröstl.

Cuddly atmosphere

Owner Pitrik van der Lubbe says: “Last year we started this temporary concept with ‘cows and cheese on the lake’ in Reeuwijk. It turned out to be a success, so I also decided to bring the atmosphere of the Alps to Zoetermeer. In a few weeks we turn the restaurant into a winter sports village with typical dishes and drinks from the walls, cuddly tanish” Buitenige “

Beef broth with threaded meat and chocolate fondue

Restaurant Kühe und Käse has compiled special menu cards for the winter months. As a snack, for example, you choose Apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce, a shelf with tastings or a warming cocktail. For dinner you can go for Schnitzel with preiselbear compote, Schwarzwälder flat at the cheese fondue or beef broth with wire meat. Finish your day with a Toblerone chocolate fondue, hot chocolate with rum and whipped cream or a cheese board.

On winter sports in Zoetermeer

On Friday 19 September, winter sports restaurant Kühe und Käse will open at Cadenzaplein at 5 pm in the Stadshart. From 1 October you can also go there for lunch. Go skiing in SnowWorld before your visit and you are really a day at WinterSport in Zoetermeer.
