Footballer Joel Pohjanpalo31, and his lawyers have submitted an application for a summons to the Helsinki District Court. The matter concerns unpaid rents.
The application for a summons arrived in the district court in early August. The defendant is a man who has lived in an apartment owned and rented by Pohjanpalo in Helsinki.
According to the summons, the tenant has not paid his rent since last March. Also, the tenant has not been contacted.
Pohjanpalo requires the district court to confirm the lease on the basis of unpaid rent. In addition, he obliges the tenant to move out of the apartment with the threat of eviction.
By the end of August, the amount of rent in the arrears was EUR 4,250. In addition, Pohjanpalo requires a man to pay the rent from the beginning of September until the district court’s decision, including interest.
The reimbursement of the plaintiff’s legal costs is also required.
